Go for a walk before work

What’s worse than working on a Monday morning? Working on a Monday morning in a bad mood. Well - I have a quick fix solution for you. Go on a brief walk before you set out for the day. Your mood will be significantly increased.

What’s worse than having a bad sleep after a long day of work, and before another long day? Honestly not much. I have a quick fix solution! Go on a walk before work! It really improves your sleep, trust me on this!

Well, why before work? You may be wondering. Realistically, do you think after a 10-hour day at the office (or whatever you do and wherever you work), coming in to the one thing you have been looking forward to seeing all day, your dinn-, sorry I mean wife, you will want to go for a walk? It’s finally time to CHILL! I can hardly see you getting your trainers on and going for a walk at this time. It’s almost 8pm and its FREEZING outside! But before work? That’s another story.

All you have to do, is wake up 30 minutes before you normally would. Now don’t give me all the, “I already wake up at 6AM” BS (sorry, I must be harsh to get my point across). If this minimal amount of time will do everything positive, on top of improving your sleep; what are you moaning for? The tiny half an hour of sleep that you are loosing out to enjoy your fresh-morning walk will be replaced with a golden half hour the night before.

One of the positives of going for a walk, is that walking daily leads to a longer life span. What is the point in working all these years towards your pension if you don’t even get to enjoy any of it! As I said before, the walk will lighten your mood, you know this yourself. A brief encounter with nature releases endorphins, so you will enjoy your day of work that little - or large - bit more than you would have if you didn’t go on your lovely morning stroll.

Take my advice - go on a walk in the morning before work!
